2002’s Bend it like Beckham opened up the doors of real Asian living. Extended families, relationship difficulties, arranged marriages and pressures around school are all very honest and believable topics explored by this hit film. I, personally, could relate to some of the ideas. But the Metro has perfectly discovered a huge range of other problems we have all had to overcome.
